SPEA was at the 25th Spanish Congress of Ornithology organized by the Spanish Ornithological Society (SEO Birdlife) that took place from 9 to 13 November, in Menorca, Canary Islands. Science, conservation and birds were the main topics at this congress, an event aimed at exhibiting the results of research, projects and issues of maximum ornithological interest. The programme of activities included scientific sessions, round tables, oral communications, poster presentations and working group meetings.
The problem of pollution and the conservation efforts of the LIFE Natura@night project were in the spotlight, with a poster display covering the problem of light pollution in Macaronesia.
