SPEA is a Non-Governmental Environmental Organization whose mission is to work for the study and conservation of birds and their habitats. Câmara Municipal de Santana

The Municipality of Santana, as the managing entity of the Santana Biosphere Reserve, has as its main objective the promotion of sustainable development. Within the scope of the LIFE Natura@night project, the development of a Public Lighting Plan for the municipality is planned, implementation of pilot actions, an inventory of public lighting in the municipality and participation in a working group on light pollution, with the aim of establishing legislation on the same. https://www.cm-santana.com/

Câmara Municipal de Machico

The Municipality of Machico, as the executive body of the municipality, is responsible for the organization, operation and management of its services. As part of the sustainable development of the municipality, the Municipality of Machico participates in the LIFE Natura@night project, in order to implement better mitigation measures for the global problem that seriously affects biodiversity and people: light pollution. Thus, this project aims to make the population aware of the impacts of light pollution on biodiversity, as well as to implement legislation on it, based on the search and development of joint works to achieve results that persist over time and improve existing lighting. https://www.cm-machico.pt/

Câmara Municipal de Santa Cruz

The Municipality of Santa Cruz seeks to embrace projects such as LIFE Natura@night, which essentially aims to reduce the impact of light pollution that negatively affects seabirds and improve economic savings. The Municipality's main interventions consist of the replacement of more energy-efficient luminaires in certain locations along the seafront, intervention in bird rescue campaigns and actions to raise awareness of the impacts of light pollution, as well as participation in a working group to promote the establishment of legislation on light pollution. http://www.cm-santacruz.pt/

Câmara Municipal do Funchal

The Municipality of Funchal, within its sphere of competences, has as a priority to plan, carry out and mobilize the city to be a territory ahead of its time. In this framework, environmental sustainability and the area of ​​nature conservation are at the center of our political action. The Municipality of Funchal joins the LIFE Natura@night project to mitigate the impact of public lighting on seabirds, carry out a public lighting inventory, implement a Public Lighting Plan for the municipality and collaborate in the dissemination and awareness actions developed by the project. www.funchal.pt

Câmara Municipal de Santa Cruz da Graciosa

The Municipality of Santa Cruz da Graciosa, being the only municipality on Ilha Graciosa – Azores, a Biosphere Reserve since 2007, has as its mission the preservation and sustainability of its natural and cultural resources with people. It is a partner in the LIFE Natura@night project, where several actions are planned, namely an inventory of public lighting in the municipality and the development of a Public Lighting Plan for the municipality, implementation of pilot actions and environmental education activities. Instituto das Florestas e Conservação da Natureza IP-RAM

IFCN, IP-RAM is a legal person governed by public law, with legal personality, with administrative, financial and patrimonial autonomy, integrated in the indirect administration of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (RAM), under the supervision of the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Natural Resources. Its mission is to promote the conservation of nature, the planning and sustainable management of bio and geodiversity, the landscape and the forest, as well as the resources associated with it, as well as the management of protected areas. Direção Regional de Políticas Marítimas

DRPM's primary mission is to enhance the Azores sea by promoting uses and activities, while maintaining its splendor and ensuring its environmental quality. As part of LIFE Natura@Night, DRPM will coordinate seabird rescue campaigns in the Azores, improving the 'SOS Cagarro' campaign, extending it to other breeding species of the order of Procellariiformes. Fluxo de Luz

The company Fluxo de Luz is a private limited liability organization whose mission is to present sustainable solutions in lighting, energy and buildings. This mission includes an interest in light pollution mitigation. Fluxo de Luz prepared the public lighting master plans (PDIC) for the municipalities of Santa Cruz and Machico. This company will be responsible in the LIFE Natura@night project for executing the PDICs of the municipalities of Funchal, Câmara de Lobos, Santana and Santa Cruz da Graciosa. In addition, it will provide technical support and consultancy in the implementation of the pilots foreseen under this project. Instituto de Astrofísica de Canárias

The Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) is a Spanish funded research center that aims to promote and carry out the astrophysical research, develop and transfer all related technology, spread astronomical knowledge, collaborate in university teaching and that runs two of the best international observatories in the world. In the LIFE Natura@night project, it will extend the network of night-time photometers in Madeira, Azores and the Canary Islands to measure the darkness of their natural areas and make its data available to the scientific community through a public website. www.iac.es

The Technological Institute of the Canary Islands, ITC, is a public company belonging to the Government of the Canary Islands that is committed to science and technology as essential pieces in the process of socioeconomic transformation and sustainable development of the Canary Islands. The ITC has extensive experience in the coordination and preparation of European projects in the field of R&D&i and, within the framework of the LIFE Natura@night Project, it will be in charge of drawing up the Public Lighting Master Plan for the municipalities of Mogán (in Gran Canaria) and Buenavista del Norte (in Tenerife). www.itccanarias.org

SEO/BirdLife, Sociedad Española de Ornitología, is an environmental NGO in Spain. Founded in 1954, our mission has continued since then: with birds as a flag, we want to preserve society's biodiversity with participation and involvement.
